  • USCIS administers the EB-5 program, created by Congress in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. Under a pilot program enacted in 1992, and regularly reauthorized since then, investors may also qualify for EB-5 visas by investing through regional centers designated by USCIS based on proposals for promoting economic growth.

  • This program is known as EB-5 for the name of the employment-based fifth preference visa that participants receive. Congress created the EB-5 Program in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. In 1992, Congress created the Immigrant Investor Program, also known as the Regional Center Program. This sets aside EB-5 visas for participants who invest in commercial enterprises associated with regional centers approved by USCIS based on proposals for promoting economic growth.

  • USCIS administers the EB-5 Program. Under this program, entrepreneurs (and their spouses and unmarried children under 21) are eligible to apply for a green card (permanent residence) if they: Make the necessary investment in a commercial enterprise in the United States; and Plan to create or preserve 10 permanent full-time jobs for qualified U.S. workers.

Our EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program provides investors with a unique opportunity to receive a condo as an exit strategy after approval of I-829, in approximately 3 to 4 years, in lieu of waiting 5 years for their principle return.

TODAY

ML Companies EB-5 client invests $500,000 into the SML at Redondo LLC Project

ONE YEAR

USCIS processes client’s I-526 application (approximately 8-9 months). Chinese citizens may require an additional 5-9 months before being interviewed in Guangzhou for immigrant Visa. At One and a half years client is granted a 2 year conditional green card.

TWO YEARS

After 2 years, client will be required to apply for I-829 to remove conditional residence status.

TWO AND A HALF YEARS

I-829 is approved (approximately 5-6 months).

THREE TO FOUR YEARS

Client can choose to receive ownership of a condominium home in the SML at Redondo Hotel/Condo. -OR- Project will return principal amount after 5 years.

FIVE YEARS

Client remains a member of the Limited Partnership.
